A relatively rare single element sculpture, only slightly anthropomorphic.
In spite of the peacefulness of the form the posture generates an aura
of tension because the human body
is incapable of holding this position without considerable internal stress.
Symbolically this reminded people that satisfaction and plenty were too
often transitory.
